Learning Skills And Academic Goals For Gr. 6 (SMART Goals)
Today, I’ll be talking about the fun and amazing SMART goals. I’m now in Gr. 6, and I need to make Academic goals and goals for my learning skills.
Learning Skills
I’m determined to elevate my organizational skills and turn chaos into clarity! I’ll know I’ve achieved my SMART goal when my study space is not just tidy, but transformed into a clean and inspiring haven that sparks my creativity and focus! I will need to have people by my side when I complete this goal, and those people are my teachers, my family, and my amazing fellow peers! In order to complete this goal, I will spend 15-20 minutes each night cleaning my room or desk to ensure that it shines! In school, I will clean my locker, my desk, and my possessions (school supplies), ensuring that all of my learning space is tidy and squeaky clean! Even better, when I complete this goal, I will be able to learn in school better due to the clean and organized environment, and I will know when assignments/projects are due. I plan to finish this SMART goal by June 30, 2025!
Academic Skills
I’m excited to set my sights on my academic SMART goal, focused on enhancing my Hebrew and French skills! My aim is to boost my fluency in both languages, opening doors to richer conversations and greater opportunities! I know I have achieved this goal when I can use, understand, read, speak and write French and Hebrew! To truly excel, practice is my secret weapon! I’m diving into podcasts for listening, writing a paragraph in French and Hebrew each week, and exploring exciting books in both languages. Plus, I’ll engage in daily 5-minute conversations to keep it lively. It’s all about immersing myself and enjoying the journey! I will also need Mme. Wanda, my French teacher and Morah Liat, my Hebrew teacher. This goal will give me the AMAZING opportunity to go to different areas of the world (i.e. Quebec, France and Israel) and use the skills that I’ve learned! I aim to achieve this academic SMART goal by July 6th, 2025!
Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post (I work really hard on them).
