Today we explored Fractions. We went through a series of slides and then watched 2 videos about it.

There are 4 types of fractions:

• Zero fraction: Is any fraction with zero in the numerator. Like 0/8
• Proper fraction: Has no whole number part and its numerator is smaller than its denominator. Like 1/8
• Whole fraction: When the top number and the bottom number are the same (The fraction is always equal to 1).
• Improper fraction: When a fraction’s numerator is greater than the denominator.

What I know about fractions: Fractions are part of a whole, the types of fractions, mixed numbers, comparing fractions, fractions on a number line etc.

What I learned about fractions: Equivalent fractions.
